The biannual speedrun charity Games Done Quick has recently revealed its schedule!

The first Metroid game in the list is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which will be performed by MrMiguel! The speedrun category will be Any%, and is estimated to take 2 hours and 35 minutes. It will be ran 3:42 AM EST / 8:42 AM UTC on January 6th.

Super Metroid will also be showcased! Its runner will be Ryan Ford who will blast through Zebes on the GT Classic category! GT Classic is a special category, where the player utlizes the hidden “Golden Torizo code” which unlocks all abilities when entering the Golden Torizo room while holding the ABXY buttons (save for Screw Attack). It is estimated to take around 41 minutes! It will be ran 7:20 PM EST / 12:20 AM UTC on January 8th/9th.
