Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube channel has released two new Samus Returns videos. The first video showcases all of Samus’s power-ups in the game. Some are items we already knew about, like the Charge Beam, Gravity Suit and Spider Ball, but we can now confirm the return of the Spazer and Plasma Beams, and addition of Super Missiles, Power Bombs and High Jump Boots. We are also treated to a glimpse of the Omega Metroid! Additionally, a Samus Returns theme for the 3DS has come out in Japan. When you start up your system, the iconic Samus Aran’s Appearance Fanfare is heard, and then a remix of the Super Metroid introduction theme plays. No word yet on if this theme will make its way over to Western 3DS systems, but we’ll keep you informed! You can watch the powerup video here, and see the theme here.
