The sixth season finale of the British TV series Slow Horses features a surprise Metroid cameo! One of the characters, Roddy Ho, is seen at 50:40 in the episode, playing Metroid Prime Remastered with what appears to be a Wii Zapper or other device. He’s momentarily distracted by his colleague, who tells him to be ready to leave. We then see the game onscreen again; the Scan Visor being used. It’s likely that gameplay of Remastered was pre-recorded rather than the game actually being played. Still, it’s a fun and unexpected glimpse of Metroid on TV!
