Earlier today, Nintendo announced the latest installment in the Metroid franchise, with the reveal of Metroid Dread on Nintendo Switch. In an effort to promote the game, the official website will be sharing a series of updates called Metroid Dread Report with new installments happening between now and launch. The first volume of the Metroid Dread Report has already been released, offering a closer look at the reveal trailer. It offers details on the meaning behind the name “Dread”, bridging the story between Fusion and Dread, information about the E.M.M.I. robots and details bout some of Samus’ abilities. Volume 2 is already promised, with details on how the E.M.M.I. will bring change to the world of Metroid.
